'Building strong foundations for children’s futures'

Centacare’s Parent-Child programs provide a range of early intervention programs to young families in Central and Far West NSW.   Services include home visiting, playgroups, activities for  fathers with their children, schooling for teenage mothers, input from early childhood specialists and parenting programs.

Through the Communities for Children initiative in Dubbo, Narromine and Wellington, Centacare also facilitates the delivery of  a number of innovative services to families through strong partnerships with local agencies.

Best Practice

Centacare plays a lead role in developing best practice models, particularly around engaging and  supporting Aboriginal families.
